iBT TOEFL Speaking Preparation

The iBT speaking section is only difficult if you don't have the right preparation. Jakarta English Courses will provide a specialist iBT

TOEFL teacher who will travel to your home and prepare you for your iBT test. You will be taught the test taking strategies required to

pass the test.

The iBT TOEFL section has six different question types.

The first two questions are independent speaking questions.

Question 1.

You will ask you about personal experience, give details and information about your personal experience and then say why

and give examples.

Question 2

You will ask you about your personal preferences and opinions, say which you prefer and give two reasons and examples.

Question 3

You will summarize some notes and state a speakers opinion and then give the two reasons why the speaker has that

opinion supported with details.

Question 4

Here you summarize topic and relationship between the reading and listening, explain the main points in the listening and how

they relate to the reading.

Question 5

In the question, you will listen to a person's problem, state the two solutions and then explain which solution is better and

give your reasons why.

Question 6

In this question, you will listen to a lecture, then state the main topic and then give the main points and support each with

details.
